eryn says: Sorry this is so late (almost two months... 8D;;), but I've been super busy with work and other crap that I just haven't had time to upload much. D: Anyway, KAT-TUN Ⅲ -QUEEN OF PIRATES- is probably my favorite KAT-TUN album so far. It's awesome!
T∀BOO is one of my favorite new tracks on the album. It's relatively short, which is a shame. D: The theme of the album is pirates, and T∀BOO has a really tropical, island-y feel to it, kinda something you'd expect from a Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Keep the faith is awesome, and also one of my favorite singles from them thus far.
AFFECTION ~Mou Modorenai~ is a slower pop song, and it's pretty catchy. Jin's note at 0:48 is ~*fantabulous*~.
HELL, NO is faster and more rock-influenced.
DISTANCE is another slower song, not one of my personal favorites though.
MOTHER/FATHER is, as its title would suggest, a ballad-type song. It's really sweet and the chorus is really nice.
LIPS is another favorite single of mine, and is probably the heaviest rock track on the album.
Yorokobi no Uta is KAT-TUN's most pop singles (nest to SIGNAL), and is really catchy and fun, especially the chorus.
「un-」,
OUR STORY ~Prologue~,
Nannen Tattemo, and
SHOT! are the weaker tracks on the album (in my opinion), so you'll have to download for yourself and judge before this review reaches six pages long.
12 o'clock has all the members' lines electronified (is that a word?), so it sounds... interesting.
Ai no Command has a catchy chorus (I'm running out of things to say ;_;) and the bridges sound really rock. And finally,
SIX SENSES is my other favorite new track. It has the clapping beats that sound a lot like Rhianna's Pon de Replay, rotfl. It's awesome. ♥ Overall a pretty strong album, and another #1 hit for KAT-TUN. (raise your hand if you're shocked, really. XD)
